HiStory is a digital baby journal that stays with you from pregnancy onwards. Write about the day, add a photo, a short video or a voice recording, and keep it all in a calm, private space that your family can access when you invite them.

Every memory in one place
Why write it down?
We think we'll remember. Then the next day comes.
The first smile. That word only they pronounced that way. The week they finally slept through the night. We take thousands of photos, but what happened that day, what they said and what made them laugh rarely stays with the pictures.
HiStory was made for those details. A few minutes in the evening, a voice recording during the day—and years later, you can still return to them. And one day, you’ll have something to place in their hands: their own story.
The moments that are easy to forget
The first heartbeat on the ultrasound
The first smile
The first word, just the way they said it
Their favourite nursery rhyme at age two
The first day of nursery
How it works
Three steps, and you're ready to start writing.
01
Account and journal
Sign up with your Google or Facebook account and create your child’s journal. Each child gets a separate journal, and you can keep a personal journal of your own too.
02
Capture memories
Write a few lines about the day and add a photo, short video or voice recording. Missed a day? You can add it later.
03
Look back and share
Browse back through the timeline day by day, and find your favourites in a separate view. Anyone you invite can follow the story too.
Capture memories
One day, one entry—as much detail as you like.
Each day has one continuous entry that you can add to later. This way, the journal does not become fragmented; it grows into a story.
Daily entry
Write down what happened while it is still fresh.
Add it later
You can add earlier days retrospectively.
Photos
Add pictures directly to the day’s entry.
Short videos
The first steps, just as they really happened.
Voice recordings
A heartbeat, baby babble or a song you sing together.
Quick memory
Just a few seconds when there is no time to write at length.
Little sayings, before they are forgotten
When there is no time to write at length, you can save what they said or what just happened in a few seconds—with a picture or voice recording too. You will find it later in the right child’s journal.
Example
“Mom, is the moon coming home with us too?”

Pregnancy and the early years
A little guidance for every week and every day.
HiStory shows content tailored to your child’s current age—from the weeks of pregnancy to the days after birth.
The weeks of pregnancy
Week by week, see how your baby is developing, how big they are now—compared with a piece of fruit—and read short, easy-to-understand information about what is happening at this stage.
After birth, day by day
Every day brings a short fact linked to that day’s number, available on that day only. For example:
Day 44
Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States.
Shareable cards: Weekly and daily content can easily be sent to family members or shared on social media.

Memory Box: a place for memories that do not fit in a journal entry.
The hospital wristband, the first drawing, a nursery creation. The Memory Box lets you preserve digital versions of these in a separate, gallery-style space, independently of the timeline.

The story behind HiStory
The people behind it
It did not start with a product idea. It started with a family.
HiStory grew out of one family’s own experience. Here, they share why they started it—and why it matters to them that other families’ memories are kept safe too.
[Introduction—in the family’s own words, 2–3 sentences]

Data security
Your memories stay yours.
A journal you keep for years only matters if it is still there years later. That is why security and long-term preservation are core principles, not add-ons.
Protecting private content
No one can access the journal without an invitation, and only you can see your private entries.
Cloud storage
Your memories do not depend on your phone: they remain in your account even after you sign out.
Regular backups
Your content is backed up regularly.
Access management
For each person, you decide who can view the journal and who can add to it.
GDPR-compliant data handling
Data is handled in accordance with European data protection regulations.

Frequently asked questions
Who is HiStory for?
For expectant parents and families with young children who want to preserve their child’s story in an organised way. The journal owner can invite family members too, so grandparents or the other parent can be part of the story.
Can I keep journals for more than one child?
Yes. Within one account, each child gets a separate journal, and you can switch between them easily. You can also keep a personal journal of your own.
How can I invite family members?
You can invite others to a specific child’s journal. For each person, you can decide whether they can only view the journal or add content too. No one else can edit your entries.
Can I have entries that only I can see?
Yes. You can mark entries as private—even invited family members will not be able to see them.
What kind of content can I upload?
Text, photos, short videos and voice recordings. The amount you can upload and the permitted video length depend on your subscription.
How much does a subscription cost?
The app can also be used for free. Premium subscriptions are available monthly or annually through the App Store and Google Play, in your local currency.
How does HiStory protect my data?
Your content is stored in the cloud, backed up regularly, and handled in compliance with the GDPR. No one can access your journal without an invitation. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
